I am currently the Chairman of Hellenic Bank Insurance Holding Ltd, Pancyprian Insurance Co Ltd and Hellenic Life Insurance Co Ltd.Until recently (June 2023) I served as the Chairman of the Board at Hellenic Bank. In total I was a non-executive board member at Hellenic Bank for 9 years. I served as the Chairman for almost half of those years. I also served as a Chairman and/or a member of various board committees of Hellenic Bank such as: the Audit Committee, Renumeration Committee, Nominations/Internal Governance Committee and Transformation Committee.Other board experience includes- Non-Executive Member of the Board at Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission- Executive Member of the Council at European University Cyprus- Member of the Interim Council for the establishment of the European University Cyprus- Non-Executive Member of the Board at Panayides Contracting Public Ltd- Non-Executive Member of the Board at KARYES Investments Public Ltd- Non-Executive Member of the Board at Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB)Professional and Academic Experience includes- Various top executive positions at the European University Cyprus for 28 years (including COO / Director of Administration and Human Resources)- Business School faculty member at the European University - Chief Operating Officer, Middle East at Laureate International UniversitiesI also have vast experience as an education and business consultant.
