About Ewan Branda
I am an educator, architectural historian, former software engineer, and former architect. I recently moved back to Montréal after 25 years in Los Angeles and have been teaching part-time at the Université de Montréal and McGill University. My research interests include architecture’s place in the information society, late-modern architectural technocracy, and the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in the representation and production of architecture. I was formerly a registered architect in the province of Québec and have served as the Multimedia Reviews Editor for the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians (JSAH), and as a board member for the LA Forum for Architecture and Urban Design, the Electronic Literature Organization, and The Electronic Book Review.
