About Ewan Dempsey
After moving from the UK to Belgium, I went to primary and secondary school there. In 2021, I came to Delft to start a BSc in Applied Earth Sciences at the TU Delft. Currently, I am taking a year off studying to be a full-time board member of the study association Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging. A role that I much enjoy as it offers me the chance to socialise, connect with and befriend many students, alumni and university staff members. As well as getting to be very socially active, this year is allowing me to use and improve my soft skills in addition to learning many hard skills such as management, bookkeeping and leadership.
