About Ewan Moore

My name is Ewan Moore. I am a Manufacturing Engineer - Fire Protection for Victaulic in Easton, PA. In this position, we support new products from ideation through production launch and the automation of processes for existing products. The responsibilities of this position include providing guidance for design-for-manufacturability (DFM), designing and implementing robust manufacturing processes, managing production equipment builds, and supporting production initiatives on a global scale. I studied at Shippensburg University, where I earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor of Mathematics. The Civil and Mechanical Engineering Department of the Milton and Doreen Morgan School of Engineering achieved ABET accreditation during the summer of 2024. At Ship, I was a Student Ambassador for the admissions office for four years, and the Treasurer and Steering Team Lead for Ship Baja SAE for three years. My classroom experience includes SolidWorks 3D modeling and design, manufacturing processes, process control, materials science, and more. I had two internships during my time as an undergraduate student. During the summer of 2023, I interned for the Sustaining Engineering Department at Victaulic, located out of the corporate facility in Easton, PA. In summer 2024, I served as the Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Intern at the Heidelberg Materials cement plant in Nazareth, PA. I am also an Eagle Scout.
