In his work Ewoud aims to translate Systems Engineering into applicable methods and solutions, suitable for the use within projects. Ewoud attaches great importance to deep listening in order to understand people's needs and how a problem or challenge may affect projects and organisations. Based on these needs and challenges Ewoud proposes possible solutions. These solutions are based on his expertise on system’s design, model-based design, multidisciplinary design optimization and model-based systems engineering. When a solutions strategy has been chosen Ewoud actively promotes, supports and guards the chosen path. In his work, Ewoud focuses on both the processes and the supporting tooling in order to get the desired outcome. The starting point is always an analysis of the process. Based on this analysis he applies methods and models, based on fixed rules and standards, in order to facilitate a controlled and unambiguous process. The tools used provide consistent and structured products and output specifications.
