About Eyad Qaoud

My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Damascus. I continued my academic path at RWTH Aachen, where I successfully completed my Master's thesis in Urban Planning in October 2019. During my time at FSP Architektur in Aachen, I gained practical experience in project phases 1-5, providing insights into HOAI, DIN standards, VOB regulations, and the legal aspects of construction projects. Following this, in January 2020, I joined the team at Domus Immobilien. Here, I honed my skills and worked on projects of varying scales. Coordinating with specialist planners, engineers, and authorities to obtain approvals was a central aspect of my role. I successfully tackled unique challenges by orchestrating the coordination of diverse disciplines to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth project progression. I also gathered experience in the development of approval and execution plans, as well as in contract negotiation. At FM Retail, I oversee large-scale projects in German city centers, with a focus on revitalization and sustainable renovation. From project phase 1 to on-site supervision (phases 1-9), I hold responsibility and collaborate closely with specialized teams. My approach is characterized by structured and goal-oriented work. As an empathetic team player, I always lend an ear to colleagues, clients, and partners. Transparency in communication and a friendly demeanor are second nature to me. Armed with comprehensive proficiency in tools such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and more, I leverage my technical expertise to craft innovative solutions. My passion lies in shaping the urban landscapes of tomorrow through architecture. I am excited to continue contributing my expertise at FM Retail, translating innovative concepts into tangible realities.
