Work Experience Damodar Valley Corporation Kolkata, India Chief Engineer‑I ‑ Project Management and Environmental Management Sep 2018 ‑ Nov 2020 • Managed and oversaw the installation and operationalization of multiple Thermal Power Projects, such as the Koderma project (2X500MW), Bokaro Project (1X500MW), and Raghunathpur project (2x600MW) up to the date of commercial operation. • Responsible for overseeing the development of a comprehensive 18KM long Rail and Road infrastructure as well as an 11KM Cross-country Water Corridor for the projects. • Managed the transportation of coal utilizing Rail cum Road RCR) Mode under my supervision. • Successfully executed environmental management and fly ash management strategies for Thermal Power Plants ranging from capacities of (7X500MW),( 2X600MW),(4X250MW), to (4X210MW). • Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) and DeNox System in power plants • Ensured adherence to air quality standards established by MoEF & CC, encompassing PM-10, PM-2.5, SOx, NOx, Lead, CO, Ozone, Ammonia, and other relevant parameters. • Performed regular monitoring of water quality indicators, including pH, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), oil & grease, Chromium, Zinc, Copper, Iron, Free Residual Chlorine, Phosphate, Cobalt, Nickel, and other relevant parameters. Conducted necessary leachate tests when required. • Successfully oversaw the environmentally responsible disposal of Pond Ash and Dry Fly Ash, ensuring full compliance with MoEF & CC regulations. • Played a key role in facilitating the sale of Fly Ash to Cement Companies, including its export to Bangladesh through agencies via Inland waterways. Chief Engineer & Head of the Project-(2X600 MW) Thermal Power Plant May 2017 ‑ Jun 2018 • Served as the Chief Engineer and Head of the Project for a 2X600 MW thermal power plant. • Responsible for the operation, administration, and completion of balanced construction activities, including Rail and Road infrastructure, construction of the Colony, and other infrastructure.
