Telecommunications engineer with strong experience in optical networks (DWDM/OTN/ROADM) and end-to-end network deployments across Latin America.Currently working as an Optical Subject Matter Expert, focused on the implementation and transformation of optical transport networks. My responsibilities include node commissioning, service provisioning, topology modifications (Flex Grid, CDC architectures), and integration with network management systems in live environments. I also coordinate execution activities with customers and field engineers, ensuring alignment between design, implementation, and operational requirements.My experience spans both vendor and service provider environments, giving me a broader perspective on how infrastructure decisions impact not only technical performance but also service delivery, scalability, operational constraints, and business viability.Previously, I worked in pre-sales roles, where I contributed to optical network design, including link engineering, equipment selection, traffic analysis, and network dimensioning. This background enables me to connect design decisions with real deployment constraints and operational impact. I also have early-career experience as a field technician, gaining hands-on exposure to installation and initial configuration of optical systems, giving me a grounded understanding of how networks behave outside of design assumptions.I am particularly interested in roles where I can contribute to both the technical and business aspects of network infrastructure, with greater impact on strategy, execution, and team leadership.
