I discovered the benefits of chiropractic care after months of nagging, stabbing pain in my chest and upper back that several medical doctors couldn’t find the cause to and prescribed pain medications and even antibiotics. Then my neighbor, a student/intern at Parker College of Chiropractic adjusted my spine and found the cause of my pain was coming from a subluxated rib. From that point on, the pain was gone, and about a year after that, I was attending Parker College (now Parker University). While at Parker, I discovered that I have a broken vertebrae in my lower back. I believe I am a true testament to the healing power of chiropractic care. I was told I would need surgery, and that by the looks of my MRI, I shouldn’t be walking! Thankfully, I can not only walk, but I can run and jump and dance too, all because my chiropractor (my husband) keeps me healthy with muscular therapies and spinal adjustments. Sadly, I am not able to work on patients anymore because of my injuries, so I run the business side of our practice.
