About Fabienne Lehner
I am an enthusiastic resident in Urology and currently a research fellow at the University Hospital in Zurich. In basic research, I am working on a new therapy option of advanced prostate cancer. I love the combination of clinical and basic research. As a president of the Swiss Residents in Urology (SRU) I support young Urologists in their further education. MY STORY AND BACKGROUND Graduated at Medical School at University Zurich in 2016. Afterwards, started Common Trunk at University Hospital in Zurich where I rotated in different positions (Cardiac surgery, Plastic and Hand surgery, Traumatology, Emergency and Urology). Experiencing Urology was a life changer and now became my passion. My current goal is to get specialized in Urology. Since two years, I am a research fellow and examining a new therapeutic option of advanced prostate cancer. A future goal is to combine clinics with basic research and teach this to young Urologists.
