About Fabio Battelli

Fabio has over 25 years of experience in the consulting field, with a specific focus on ICT/Cloud Security. He is a well-recognised Trusted Advisor and Subject Matter Expert in critical infrastructure protection (CIP), Security Operations Centres (SOC), Managed Security Services (MSS), Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT), Information Security Risk Management, IT Security Compliance, and the design and deployment of complex ICT/Cloud security infrastructures. Currently, Fabio is a Partner in Deloitte's Cyber Risk practice in Italy, where he provides cyber security expertise to key clients and contributes to the overall growth of the practice. Previously, Fabio worked at Accenture as a Senior Manager, where he was directly responsible for leading security projects and qualifying opportunities in the Public Service & Healthcare industry. He also served as Chief Security Strategist, leading the innovation and growth strategy of the enterprise security offering within the IGEM region (Italy, Greece, and Emerging Markets). From 2005 to 2010, Fabio was an executive at Symantec Consulting Services, where he led the Security Advisory Services for the Mediterranean region (Italy, Turkey, Israel, Greece, Hungary, Romania). During this time, he successfully delivered numerous cyber security projects across various industries, with a particular focus on National Critical Infrastructure companies, Government, Banking, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing sectors. Fabio is also an accomplished author, having published several articles in ICT Security magazines. He is a frequent speaker at ICT Security conferences and the co-author of the book "Inside Attack - Computer Crime Analysis and Prevention within Organisations"(Nuovo Studio Tecna Edition).
