I could fill this section with a long list of self-congratulatory buzzwords. After all, I work in sales—have you ever met a salesperson who wasn't at least a bit of a narcissist? But instead, I’ll just say this: I’ve been working in sales since 2009. Over the years, I’ve lived and worked across various parts of the world, engaging with diverse cultures and perspectives. And I still love what I do. Truly. I couldn’t imagine a job that would make me happier. And yes, I’m good at it—probably because I enjoy it so much. What matters most to me, though, is my set of values. That foundation was shaped by my family, by an extraordinary company that played a key role in my early career (and in making me the adult I am today), and by a few colleagues I had the privilege of calling mentors. I believe in doing what's right, not just what's easy. I believe in facing difficult situations head-on, because that’s how we grow and learn what really matters. I believe people should always be the purpose, never the means. I believe work should be a meaningful part of life, something that lets us feel we're contributing to the world around us. But I also believe life shouldn't be only about work. I believe no salary is worth sacrificing your well-being. I believe in what the Italian band Negrita once sang: “Everything’s too much; what you have is enough, and one day, you’ll understand that.” And above all, I believe our actions and the way we treat others are the only legacy that truly counts. That legacy should inspire those who’ll think of us—whether it’s in one year, ten, or a hundred.
