About Fabio Prata
Fábio Prata graduated as architect from the Faculty of Architeture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (FAU–USP), and completed a Master of Arts in Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz (FH Mainz), in Germany. In 2003 he founded with Flávia Nalon ps.2 arquitetura + design, a studio in São Paulo that creates and develops graphic design projects for both print and digital media. The studio is involved on projects of visual identity, wayfinding, editorial, promotional and websites, mainly for clients within the cultural field. ps.2 has received over 100 national and international prizes, including the german ‘best of the best’ red dot award and TDC New York and Tokyo awards. The studio has been published and exhibited worldwide, in countries such as Germany, UK, France, The Netherlands, USA, China and Japan. Ps.2 is the ‘studio of the year’ by the Latin American Design Awards, the most relevant graphic design award in Latin America. Fábio regularly teachs, gives talks and workshops for students and professionals in Brazil and abroad, and is member of AGI – Alliance Graphique Internationale since 2013.
