About Fabiola Adami

I am a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a degree in Mental Health Counseling, and I have a deep commitment to helping individuals heal, grow, and rediscover meaning in their lives. My journey into the counseling field was shaped by years of volunteer work in recovery and correctional settings, where I supported individuals navigating trauma, identity, and life transitions. During my clinical internship, I provided individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents across inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization (IOP/PHP) programs. I utilized evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a focus on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and insight-building. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years as a graphic designer, connecting people to ideas through impactful visual communication. I specialize in creative layouts for magazines, newspapers, and brochures, and have additional expertise in photo retouching and color correction. I am currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and continue to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and empathetic care, drawing on both clinical training and a background in creative communication.
