About Fabrice Devanlay

Born with passion for mobility, I learned to drive at the age of 10 - sitting on my father's knees, behind the wheel of the family car. As a pure racing enthusiast, I have been part of an incredible journey setting 16 FIA speed world records. I spent most of my career working for automotive industry which is a unique sector combining a wide scale of challenges from manufacturing to services, from design to usage, from sustainable mobility to innovation. Starting in 1996 as a technical assistant in Parts and Service, I spent four years learning a lot about products and people. I accelerated my knowledge of the car business in Marketing & Sales as a product specialist. Joining the PR side was ending the cycle as I was aiming to be in front line, dealing with Medias and influencers. I used to work on the Corporate side for various crisis management and it increased my deep knowledge of PR and Reputation. Cars aside, I am also paying great interest in other areas (watchmakers, future technologies, Travelling, Entertaining) and in interpersonal development (graduated as a Dale Carnegie coach). Key management and leadership priorities are quite simple : People first, creative vision, lean execution and result driven mindset. One piece of advice I like to pass on is that when you face a new challenge, something difficult, remember that a plane cannot take off without facing the wind. Performance needs effort but fun make it effortless.
