I am a delegate of the Chilean government to the IPCC and a scoping author of WGI during the AR7 cycle. I was a delegate of the Chilean government to the IPCC during the AR6 cycle. I am a reviewer of the UNEP GEO-7 Report. I am an associate professor at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. My research group investigates climate change dynamics and impacts. We perform field work, laboratory sample analyses, and also climate simulations using Earth System Models. I am leading the Global Change and International Politics working group at the Global Change Center of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. I am also an associate investigator at the Center for Climate and Resilience Research, where we conduct inter- and transdisciplinary research.
