Development of an innovative research strategy for the concrete durability market, including novel sensors for structural health monitoring. Active member of various standards & codes and research committees (CEN, fib, RILEM, Nanocem, Perfdub) which are designing tomorrow’s concrete standards & codes, with a broad international research and consulting network. Expert in quality management of testing laboratory (ISO17025) having built up a reference concrete laboratory with accreditation STS 521 in testing concrete, mortar, cement, aggregates, additives and admixtures, both with EN and ASTM standards.and acting as an accreditation supervisor for the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS). Distinguished analytical and statistical skills allowing to draw conclusions even from complex datasets, such as Holcim Product Handbook or using modern robust statistical methods for round robin test.
