The realm that excites me the most is the future of aerial robotics and its profound impact on humankind, which is already evident.Since 2021, I have transitioned from academia to the industry, aiming to make a tangible impact in advancing Autonomous Flight at Leonardo Company. Now, I am dedicated to applying my expertise and knowledge to push the boundaries of autonomous flight technology and contribute to its transformative potential- acquired throughout the coordination and supervision of highly-skilled researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). I directly supervised the work of 3 PhD students. I was the main advisor of several master theses and semester projects.At Leonardo I am responsible for the Technical Project Management of a group of 9 researchers working on drone-related projects: I wrote several national (SNSF) and international (EU-H2020) proposals. I coordinated the writing of a EU-H2020-ITN proposal involving 15 partners. I was the responsible of the writing and coordination of a technical WP of a EU-H2020 proposal involving 15 partners.At Leonardo I am responsible for writing proposals (national, European) in the Autonomous Flight field- gained through academic and professional experience in 5 countries: University of Naples Federico II (Naples, Italy), ETH (Zurich, Switzerland), Zentrum fur Telematik (Wurzburg, Germany), INRIA (Rennes, France), Boston University (Boston, USA) and again in Switzerland at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), Leonardo (Milan, Rome, Italy): I have been responsible to organize and teach at the course of Aerial Robotics at EPFL (M.Sc. Level) for 3 consecutive years. My lectures revolved around topics of control, estimation, navigation etc: Ph.D. in Robotics (multi-drone systems) obtained through my work at INRIA, Boston University, ​and University of Rennes 1; M.Sc. and B.Sc.(with Honors) in Automation Engineering, Italian, English and French- my family, cooking, sport (football, running, tennis, biking, swimming), reading, listening to podcasts, and meditation.
