I have a 12 years experience in Banking, with extensive experience in consolidating financial statements, and a proven track record of leading teams to achieve organizational goals. I hold a degree in Commerce from the Faculty of Commerce, English section, with a specialization in Accounting. Over the past several years, I have honed my skills in various roles at Banque Misr, where I currently serve as the Head of Foreign Branches Unit. In this capacity, I manage a team responsible for consolidating monthly trial balances, preparing financial statements disclosures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. My role also involves handling internal and external audits, assisting in financial planning and analysis, and establishing new foreign branches and representative offices. My previous roles in current department have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of group consolidation, intercompany transactions, and the application of the equity method for associate companies. I have successfully issued consolidated financial statements for over 40 subsidiaries and have been instrumental in implementing Oracle HFM (Hyperion) for financial reporting so I have been recognized with a certificate of recognition from the Vice Chairman of Banque Misr. Also have the Ability to unify accounting policies across the group and manage complex financial data controls In addition to my technical skills, I am proficient in pitching ideas and projects. Also proficient in MS Office, Power BI, and MS Project, and have a good command of graphic design tools like Photoshop. My language skills include excellent proficiency in English and a fair understanding of French. I am also committed to continuous professional development, as evidenced by my numerous certifications and training in areas such as Leadership, Design thinking, investment banking, IFRS, agile project management, and effective communication.
