About Fadzai Mukewa

I started my career in an audit environment managing audits and carried out all audit related tasks. I have obtained over 11 years of experience as both a manager and a senior manager in various operations environments across MTNSA. My primary role has always been to uphold the governance through design and development of policies and processes. I have also designed risk management frameworks within Operations environments including the execution of such. During this time, I also became an associate chartered management accountant through the MTN sponsored CIMA programme. I have also managed large teams comprising of up to 150 people I have been priviledged to represent MTN at the Enterprise Risk Management Forum on various aspects around Credit Risk. I also obtained first-hand experience on risk management tools. I am most proud of the work I did in Branded Retail when I worked with industry forensic specialists to reduce store robberies. In an effort to continuously improve myself, I joined a large back office transformation programme across HR, Finance and SCM in all 22 Operations Companies to create a customer-centric, operationally efficient platform that adds shareholder value. My key role is to implement the new service delivery model and manage a large financial budget
