As a veteran in the field of running, and in running retail, I have worked in all aspects of the business. Working in the retail marketplaces of Los Angeles, San Francisco - Bay Area, and in the Dry Creek Winery region of Healdsburg, I have developed an understanding of regional idiosyncrasies in the running retail environment. Using both grass roots local initiatives, social media, and leveraging outstanding working relationships in the industry, I've also increased sales on an annual basis, In my fifteen years working in the running retail industry, I have established strong relationships with representatives of running footwear, apparel, and accessory manufacturers from executive level, senior sales, and technical sales representatives. Building solid and positive relationships across the industry has allowed me to position my retail establishments best for obtaining the most optimal products and incentives. In establishing 3 retail locations, I've utilized best practices and metric analysis to maintain inventory, improve sales, grow business, and develop strong marketing strategies. Projecting sales metrics, and understanding the local labor force was key in maintaining appropriate sales floor and service personnel.
