About Fajar Khan
My focus throughout my BSc. in Psychology was child development and addiction support, with the ultimate goal of pursuing a career in which I can assist children and adolescents who are dealing with the effects of trauma, poverty, and mental or physical illness. As part of someone who has worked alongside multiple disciplines, I believe various disciplines must work cooperatively to develop and implement the most effective interventions. My experience comes from working in addiction/mental settings as well as working with children with disabilities and assisting vulnerable populations to find appropriate resources around the community. My hope is to work with children/vulnerable families to help navigate the healthcare system, specifically for families from various cultural backgrounds.
