About Fakhridho Susilo

I am a public policy research, advisory and advocacy professional with more than thirteen years of experience in the goverment, non-profit, research and academia. I am broadly interested in the political economy of governance reform at the national and local level and how such reform impacts the market and broader segments of society. I also study public financial resource governance and how it is shaped by formal and informal institutions underpinning the political dynamics. Through the lens of governance and political economy, my works have also touched on the issues of security, geopolitics and global affairs. I obtained my PhD in policy and governance from the Crawford School of Public Policy, the Australian National University, where I was also awarded the 2022-2023 Fox International Fellowship to conduct research at Yale University. My writings have been published in national and international media as well as various academic outlets.
