About Fangxing Bai

My research revolves around quantitative research methods, advanced statistical techniques, and their real-world applications. I specialize in designing and analyzing complex experiments, particularly cluster-randomized and regression discontinuity trials to detect core effects (main, moderation, and mediation effects). I possess experience in conducting power analysis and optimizing sample allocation within multilevel structures, including both fully and partially nested structures of these experimental and quasi-experimental designs. Additionally, I specialize in developing and applying (non-)linear structural after measurement approaches to accurately estimate n-level structural equation models, especially when dealing with smaller sample sizes. Furthermore, I am dedicated to creating R packages and user-friendly R ShinyApps that bridge the gap between research and practice, making sophisticated statistical methods more accessible to fellow researchers.
