About Fanny Gauthier

I am an experienced lawyer with 9+ years of compliance and litigation practice, in both English and French. My core competencies are in data protection and cyber security, including cyber incident response. I hold the CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe) certification from the IAPP. I also have extensive experience in representing clients from diverse sectors in regulatory matters, as well as commercial litigation and international arbitration. I have a strong pro bono practice, where I have advocated for human rights and social justice causes. In 2019-2020, I completed a secondment in Debevoise's New York office, where I gained valuable insights into the US legal system and enhanced my cross-cultural skills. I enjoy evolving in an international environment and I routinely work with teams in the US, UK and Germany. In addition, I regularly publish articles and updates on data protection and white collar issues. I have been a member of the Paris Bar since 2016. I hold master's degrees from Sciences Po and Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2), as well as an LLM in international business law from King's College London.
