About Fanny Schmit

Determined, passionate and environmentally driven, I have dedicated my first years as a young professional to acquire skills and experiences in communication and mobilization in the development cooperation in different topics such as agroecology and sustainable lifestyles. I have worked in several NGO’s, among them: Entraide & Fraternité, SOS Faim and CIDSE. I’ve grown a keen interest in ecology and climate crisis during my studies and thanks to encounter of activists. I have since then strived to lead a more sustainable lifestyle and align my professional life with my values is paramount. Owner of a Certificate in Project Management, I have created my own fictional project on sustainable familial gardens in Ecuador with the aim of improving the health and level of life of a community in need. Language and travel enthusiast, I speak fluently French (mother tongue), English, Spanish, German and I have a good knowledge of Dutch. I feel thus very comfortable in an international setting and adapt quickly. Curious by nature, I am always eager to learn new skills and be challenged to become the best version of myself. I am a quick learner, creative and a solution-finder.
