About Farah Nabil

I am a global health professional, specializing in research, grant and program management. My main lines of work include gender mainstreaming in health research and bioethics in West Africa at a political and regulatory level, planetary health, sex- and gender-based analysis of female-initiated HIV prevention technology in sub-Saharan Africa, and the social determinants of non-communicable diseases in African populations in Spain. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Zaragoza. The topic of my dissertation is the capacity building of healthcare providers in Senegal on psychosocial support provision for the homosexual population. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Research: International Health Specialty (sub-specialty: sex- and gender-based analysis), and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Biotechnology.
