Passionate educator and digital strategist at the intersection of marketing, technology, and human behaviour. My dual roles as a university lecturer and businesswoman fuel my drive to work and shape the future of digital marketing and cyberpsychology. Academic Pursuits My PhD research on "Digital Playgrounds: Irish tweens' media literacies in the context of social media content creators" explored how young people understand content produced by social media influencers and content creators and how their families and peers, as well as social media algorithms, influence their media consumption, understanding of the creators, and purchasing habits—a topic that became increasingly relevant throughout my studies. This wasn't just research—it remains a passion that keeps me at the forefront of digital trends and their impact on young minds! As Programme Coordinator for Digital Marketing at TU Dublin's School of Marketing & Entrepreneurship, I nurture the next generation of digital marketers. My journey in academia began when I was honoured as 'Student of the Year' for my M.Sc. in Cyberpsychology. Business Leadership Co-founder and Managing Director of FarendNet, where we're fully leveraging existing and emerging IT and Digital Marketing solutions for our clients. We thrive on turning digital challenges into opportunities for businesses. Community Engagement My heart beats for social inclusion. You'll often find me advising, directing boards, or speaking on issues close to my heart—particularly advocating for ethnic minorities, migrants, and interfaith dialogue. This work grounds me and fuels my passion for creating positive change. Making a Difference As a native of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and finding home in Ireland since early 1990s, whether I'm in the boardroom, classroom, or community center, my mission remains the same: to work with like minded people to harness the power of digital innovation and human connections to explore how we can make a difference together in our globally connected village.
