About Fareena Ambreen

Being a mental health professional for children, I am firmly grounded in empowering children including those with disabilities. I believe that inclusivity is not mere involvement of children in every activity but also ensuring their active participation by working on their skills as well as modifying the environment to suit their needs. Children are story tellers and the biggest magic is that they don't always need words to do so, we just need to pay attention. Children are individuals of their own with each child having their own potential that can be exceptionally reached by the family's support. Therefore, empowering and enabling families by helping them navigate through their emotional challenges and assisting them in discovering their strengths, is the core of my approach.
