About Farhad A.

I, Farhad Ahmed, was born and raised in Guwahati, Assam, but also spent a significant part of my early life in various parts of Rajasthan due to my father's role in the Indian Army. My educational journey took me to Bangalore, where I obtained a Bachelor in Business Management (BBM) from Dayananda Sagar University, followed by an MBA in Marketing from Alliance University. My professional journey started with my role as a distributor for Ingersoll Rand, working on numerous significant projects in Bangalore. This experience led me to become a distributor for Kaff, a revered kitchen brand. Eventually, I ventured into the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and quickly became one of the largest franchisees for Future Group, operating several stores under their Nilgiris Brand. In 2019, I returned to my roots in Guwahati and founded The Retina Centre, an eye hospital that quickly earned trust and recognition within the region. As the CEO, I'm currently working on expanding our services to other locations. Aside from my responsibilities at The Retina Centre, I've also delved into angel investing. I actively support and invest in several high-growth startups, showcasing my passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. My varied professional journey reflects my dedication to community service, business growth, and the healthcare industry.
