About Farhad Khan

In the '90s, when teenagers were struggling with learning and understanding computers. There was a kid who was helping his teachers with computer skills. Yes, you heard it right; I began using computers at four and developed a keen interest in coding during high school. Learning how computers work have always excited me and pulled him deeper into the world of Computer Science. During high school, I worked to build a software for a local library in my home town where I used to spend most of my time. The software turned the library into an autonomous infrastructure where visitors could themselves locate and issue the books they needed. My love for coding pushed me to start my own Software Development company in the second year of my graduation to make technology available and affordable for Indian Entrepreneurs. My startup touched a swooping revenue of 20 Lacs in just six months of start. However, I constantly struggled to find skilled engineers for my startup. This need for skilled people in my organization pushed me to lay the foundation of my second startup with two of my college friends. This startup aimed to upskill college students and freshers and land them internships in the IT industry. Despite hundreds of engineering colleges producing of engineers yearly, not more than 10 percent of these engineers are skilled enough to work for the industry. I wondered and searched for the reason. The fundamental reason I felt was the ever-increasing gap in what our colleges and universities are teaching us and what exactly we the organization aspired for. The joy I received from passing on what I had learned changed the direction of my career, and this compelled me to lead DataTrained. DataTrained works on the four pillars of education - Quality, Affordability, Reliability, and Employability. We strive to create a tech-based fantastic online pedagogy that supports and builds a skilled workforce backed by strong placement and corporate relations support. The workforce we strive to create will be equipped with the ever-changing demands of the organizations and the challenges of the future. Our commitment can be judged upon our resolves to change and upgrade careers for the future.
