About Farhad Mammadov

My career journey as a Graphic Designer began with a pivotal moment in 2018, while pursuing my HSE degree at the Azerbaijan Technical University. My creative spark was lit as I designed Wallpapers and Posters using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, leading me to reconsider my career aspirations. In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, I took the opportunity to delve deeper into Graphic Design, honing my skills as a freelancer. The next step in my career path was joining the army in 2021, before being recruited as a full-time Graphic Designer at "Universal Poligraf" LLC, one of the top companies in the printing and typography field. My tenure here allowed me to expand my knowledge in printed materials, advertising, and printing, and sharpen my product design skills through hands-on experience. Today, as a freelance Graphic Designer, I bring my clients innovative solutions in Branding, Identity, and Printing. Over the past year, my professional growth has enabled me to design logos and branding for 12 companies. In October 2022, I was awarded a scholarship to attend Code Academy, where I embarked on a journey to specialize in Advanced UX/UI design. Through a rigorous selection process, including a CV review, 3-subject test, and interview, I was among the 15 chosen individuals to participate in the program. My training has now equipped me with expertise in User Experience, User Research, and User Interface Design. Currently, I am on the lookout for exciting job opportunities as a UX/UI Designer, either within the country or remotely, ready to bring my skills and expertise to new challenges.
