My research work, focused on the potential advantage of phosphate solubilizers in plant growth promotion. In my work, the bacterial and fungal isolates were studied and biochemically and molecularly characterized. The main impetus of my research was based on the development of PCR-based techniques for the identification of microbial community structure and to find some important strains having the potential as bioinoculants. Thus, techniques such as RAPD analysis and amplification have been used in gene specific primers (GSP) which provides a convenient and rapid assessment of the differences in the genetic composition of related individuals and have been employed for the determination and assessment of genetic diversity. My PhD work gave me the opportunity to learn the various Microbiology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology and Environmental biotechnology. As my work is related to Myconanotechnology, which also includes the culturing of cell lines (J774 and THP1 α) and cell based biochemical assays containing flow cytometry and cytotoxicity studies by MTT based colorimetric analysis. I am a highly enthusiastic researcher with a deep interest in the application of microbiology to real-world problems and a commitment to high quality research. I have a demonstrated ability to understand and analyse complex problems, excellent research and communication skills, and an eagerness to learn. My quickness to learn and adaptability to different areas of research has been demonstrated in my success in a wide range of research areas. I am a strong advocate of the usefulness of using microbiological approaches for applications in the clinical and life sciences and beyond, and am extremely motivated to demonstrate their applicability and flexibility for problem solving in a wide range of research areas.
