I am in the process of obtaining Municipal Administration Program. I have completed my diploma in Human Resource Management & I have completed my degree in Bachelor of Applied Sciences. I can effectively lead, negotiate and motivate teams to desired results. Having worked with diverse groups of people from young children to seniors I have developed strong skills in the following categories such as research, presentation, communication, event planning, time management, administration, coordination, problem-solving, leadership qualities, facilitation skills, teamwork (team building), fundraising, program development, evaluation, strategic planning, community development, volunteer management, community outreach, teaching, coaching, training, critical thinking, customer service, public speaking, sales representative, conflict resolution, negotiation, project management, strong community and social services. I am proud deputy to issue Marriage Licences Application from City of Guelph. I love making a difference in the community! My experience includes leading a Social Committee for a non-profit organization where I was able to bring over 26 nationalities together from a wide spectrum of economic levels through my leadership skills, resulting in a nomination for Canada’s Peace Maker Medal Award. I have developed strong interpersonal skills through the pursuit of my BASc. and working with Municipal level government (City of Guelph) & Federal level government (Citizenship and Immigration, Refugees of Canada), seniors, UofG students, youth, children (infant - preschool), diverse communities and newcomers. I am a self-directed learner, having the passion and desire to work towards personal and professional development. I always look for challenging roles, with opportunities to achieve personal and team goals. I am proficient in English, Dari, Farsi (Persian), Urdu and Hindi languages. I follow Servant, Transformational and Inspirational leadership approaches.
