Farid Benmbarek is Co-owner and Managing Director of Straight Shooter Publishing, a music publishing company he established together with Top Notch, Noah’s Ark, and Universal Music Publishing NL. He has been involved with Top Notch for over 15 years, playing a major role in building the record label up to one of the most influential in Dutch music history. He most recently served as the A&R Director. Presently, he is a member of the management team at TNNA: the label-fusion of Top Notch and Noah's Ark. As a member of the Organizing Committee of The Edison Pop Awards he helped reform and rebrand the most prestigious music award event of The Netherlands. Farid currently also serves on the Supervisory Board for Eurosonic Noorderslag and holds positions as a Board of Directors member for both Kunsten '92 and the Amsterdam Arts Council.
