About Farren Lee

Welcome to my profile, I have been a safety advisor and training professional for over 10 years. First getting the taste for training as a qualified fitter and turner teaching apprentices, from there my passion has grown for training and especially in the safety field. I have dual Diplomas in Vocation education and training and Training design and development. I also hold a certificate four in OH & S. I have spent the last 3 years working for Transpacific Industries as the national trainer for chemical management. This role was not just a pure training in the class room role, I provided practical guidance and mentoring of staff for chemicals and safety conducting site inspections and in the field training. The field training allowed me to build better relationships with the staff on all levels and our customers. I have created 5 unique and custom training packages for chemical safety. I have conducted training sessions from one on one training to classes of fifty plus staff. I also conducted training assessments and mentored Transpacific's branch instructors for each site to improve the quality of training across each site and businesses across Australia. Prior to the role with Transpacific i spent just shy of 4 years with Central highlands Regional council as a safety advisor and trainer. This role gave me a broad range of experience in the safety world that I could not get anywhere else due to the location and size of the land area of CHRC region the team of 4 which I was part of looked after 11 towns,13 communities providing safety advice to not only the council staff but the public as well. Training the staff in safety and the culture of that area only strengthened my passion for training and changing the workplace culture that is here in Australia.
