As a Senior Electrical Designer at Hammerschlag & Joffe Inc, I lead the design and coordination of electrical systems for a broad range of projects, including commercial developments, residential buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities across Ontario. Power Distribution – I develop tailored, code-compliant power distribution systems that prioritize safety, efficiency, and long-term performance. Lighting Design – I manage lighting design from concept through to implementation, balancing function, energy efficiency, aesthetics, and compliance with applicable standards. Life Safety Systems – I design and coordinate fire alarm and emergency systems to meet OBC and CAN/ULC standards, ensuring life safety requirements are fully addressed. Building Automation – I integrate lighting, HVAC, and security systems into intuitive control platforms, enhancing user experience and operational flexibility. IT & Communications – I support the planning and implementation of structured cabling and communication infrastructure to meet modern connectivity demands. Working closely with architects, engineers, and clients, I ensure that electrical systems align with both project goals and regulatory requirements.
