Background

About Fatima Husain

Leading with vision, creativity, and collaboration, I have been providing policy makers and practitioners with research advice and evidence insights to improve understanding of social issues and 'what works' to improve outcomes for the disadvantaged and for society. I focus on social research and evaluation design, training, and delivery across a wide range of policy areas and enjoy the challenge of grappling with design, methods and sampling. My expertise extends to areas such as standards, educational attainment, children and young people, families and parenting, health and social care, child poverty, ethnicity and disadvantage. Whether you need strategic advice on innovative intervention design or direction and leadership to deliver research to your requirements, my expertise covers small scale qualitative studies and process evaluations to large experiments (randomised control trials) in social settings.
