About Fatima Jaffar

I have 16 year of working experience in different Right based Non-Government Organizations. I have worked with Juveniles, Victims of CSA and CSEC, Incarcerated children, children involved in labour, Women prisoners, IDPs, Orphans and shelter children for their main streaming and Psychosocial learning. I moved to an INGO MDM (Medicins du Monde) to work in a Project of Dar ul Amans to ensure minimum standards as well as empowerment of shelter home residents through monthly sessions on LSBE, Women Rights, Women Protection Laws, Psychosocial skills and SRHR. I got promotion between 12 protection officers to monitor 10 Dar ul Amans. I got award on Valuable contributions in shelter homes. While working with Insan Foundation Trust (IFT) I have been responsible to provide awareness sessions to the victims of Gender Based Violence on Life Skills and SRHR. After Joining The Media Foundation (TMF) I have to monitor USAID project on girl education in religious institutes I have been conducted sessions on LIFE Skills for girls and on SRHR with women who came to attend skill courses there. On successful completion of USAID project I have been selected for International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) to visit America for Coalition building on GBV. As a trainer I have delivered sessions on Child Rights, Child Abuse, Counseling/Para Counseling techniques, Life Skills, SRHR, HIV & AIDs, Conflict Resolution Skills, Psychosocial rehabilitation and Health & Hygiene. I have setup child friendly shelter for needy children from Saliqa organization Kashmir and also provided training to them on Psychosocial counseling techniques including conflict management and Life Skills. As a volunteer I am also working with a group of people who are providing support to religious institutes, research works and proposal writings. I have worked with health professionals, lawyers, Jail staff, Social workers, Police, religious scholars, Psychologists and youth. Qualities: Friendly, Team Worker and dedicated towards assigned tasks
