About Fatima Raza

I’m a social impact professional focused on sustainable development, social responsibility, and circular economy principles. I am a clear-headed problem solver, and this has always helped me thrive in diverse and dynamic working environments because I am able to reframe problems and difficult situations as opportunities to learn, grow, and build relationships. Throughout my education and career, I have gained expertise in project management, design and process optimization, strategic communication, developing partnerships, and managing diverse stakeholders. I enjoy helping organizations improve process and outcomes for social interventions through sustainable development and human rights frameworks. Most recently, I completed a certification in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies and have been deepening my knowledge around what successful sustainability strategies look like across sectors. I am looking to apply my knowledge of complexity and global issues gained through ten years in the public sector to realize a paradigm shift for people and planet. My professional experiences have led me to conclude that sustainability can only be achieved when we tackle complex environmental, social, and governance issues through collaborative and cross-sectoral methods. I am excited by the scope and capacity for sustainability and circularity in the private sector to achieve impact. I believe my skills and experience will especially help me tackle projects related to equity, product circularity, developing traceability, responsible sourcing, inclusive procurement, and supply chain sustainability. On a personal note, at my core, I am a creative person. I love to take on DIY projects that I have no previous experience and expertise in to challenge myself, build new skills, and learn on the go.
