I am a Social Responsibility specialist, and I have honed my expertise in managing social impacts and fostering positive relationships with diverse communities. Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in conducting social risk assessments, leading stakeholder consultations, and developing engagement strategies that align with the company’s commitment to social performance. I have extensive experience in guiding teams and planning strategies that focus on resolving potential community conflicts, mapping stakeholder perceptions, and aligning their expectations with company goals. My work has consistently emphasized the importance of transparency and trust, particularly when presenting the company’s activities and its societal and environmental commitments to key stakeholders. I have built strong, trust-based relationships through engagement processes with various cultural groups, including fishing communities, quilombolas, and Brazilian indigenous groups, as well as interest groups such as governments and NGOs. This has been crucial in managing regulatory-driven socioeconomic requirements, ensuring the company’s social license to operate, especially within areas that impact indigenous populations. In addition to my hands-on work with communities, I possess solid management skills, including developing and implementing strategies, fostering communication and relationship-building across different sectors, both internally and externally, and managing vendor partnerships, contracts, and budgets.
