About Fato Fene

Fato FENE is doctor of Science in Health Systems (School of Public Health of Mexico), holds a master's degree in Population and Development (FLACSO-Mexico) and a DES in Applied Economics (statistical option) at the Center for Planning Techniques and Applied Economics in Haiti. He has skills in literature review, quantitative and qualitative analysis and has produced several scientific publications published in high-impact journals. He has also participated in several project evaluation studies that use mixed quanti-quali methods to highlight the effect of interventions on the modification of the living conditions of beneficiaries. He has skills in project management and leadership of research activities. He had work experiences in different organizations in Mexico and Haiti such as National Institute of Public Health of Mexico, DAI, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Policité-Haiti, Measure Evaluation and Catholic Relief Services. He is co-founder of the Cabinet d'Etudes en Population et Santé (CEPOS) created in May 2022. He is currently Lead of Quantitative and Qualitative Research at JSI Research and Training Institute & Gavi and Professor at CREFIMA University in Haiti for the qualitative research methods course.
