About Faune Ybarra
I am Faune and I'm a diasporic artist and cultural worker. In my art and admin practice, I seek to foster community connections among folks who might haven't had a chance (due to systemic barriers) to engage with art/ists. As an arts programmer and facilitator, I look at dialogical methodologies to nurture community art projects for Indigenous, Black and racialized folks. I'm passionate about facilitating dialogue and connection among BIPOC art/ists with the conviction that art is a tool for systemic re-imagination and change.
