Thirty years of progressive, successful experience with consistent career growth to Executive Chef with significant contributions to profession and industry. I have being in the Culinary Industry since 1961. My apprentice program was at the prestigious Mid America Club in Chicago, IL under the direction of Chef Rane Valdenaire and General Manager Axel Grove. I continued my education at Loop College, Chicago, IL. I have been a member of the American Culinary Federation since 1974 to present. I have served as Apprentice Chair and President of the ACF,Chicago Chef of Cuisine Association for two terms. The ACF has honored me as Chef of the Year 1988; as well as, receiving two National Presidents, awarded the Chef Professionalism Award for the Central Region, and the "Academy of Chef Award" nationally and locally. I am Academy member and Escoffier Society member. Also, serving as a permanent committee member of the Escoffier Society. I am a member of the prestigious Golden Toque and numerous other professional associations.
