About Fayad Samad

Ever since I was a little kid, exploring and engaging new ideas were my passion. The forms that took birth from by hands were limited only by my imagination and ingenuity. Through school I latched on to ideas that intrigued me, and unveiled them at various exhibitions. I always embraced even the craziest of my ideas and pondered for their feasibility. With greats insights and support from my family and friends I have brought great many ideas to life.A graduate degree in Mechanical engineering empowered me better to design, build and give form to my crude ideas. I made my first robot 3 weeks into college, the upgraded iterations of which aced even in National level competitions and exhibitions of IITs. From there to building a to scale two seater aircraft, the effort and commitment had been remarkable.This insatiable thirst for the novel and extraordinary, landed me in a research position as Principal Investigator for a funded project at Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment. 28 months of working on this R&D project gave me immense insights on project planning, design and execution. The project has been officially completed on 30/06/2020. So, now in the industry I am looking for the next challenging opportunity in R&D to dedicate myself and achieve results.Specialties: 3D modelling and simulation, Mechanical Design, Project Management and Execution.
