A highly respected, personable and knowledgeable senior professional possessing extensive experience of all aspects of the skills, welfare to work and economic regeneration sector gained through 17 years’ experience securing, commissioning and delivering multimillion budgets. I have worked at senior director level in public, private and third sector organisations being part of executive leadership teams to lead the strategic, financial and operational direction of organisations to deliver growth. Comfortable with a wide remit (operational delivery, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, supply chain management, quality, HR & workforce development, performance management, management information, new business development, new product and service development) and associated responsibilities, I have the drive, ambition and expertise to work alongside business owners, boards and executives to take a business forward. I am very well connected with decision makers at government department, local and operational level as well as having built good relationships with key sector professionals and organisations to engage, influence and deliver commissioners objectives directly. I am currently working on consultancy basis to develop an employer facing initiative to help respond to the skills gaps reported by employers in light of projected job growth in the region. This programme will be self sustaining and improve the engagement between employers and educators particularly in light of the government's apprenticeship targets and the levy.
