I started my working career in 1991 with Running Imp and now 34 years later here I still am after 2 Jubilee's, a takeover of Running Imp UK in 2008, a shareholder buyout in 2019 with Caroline retiring, a global pandemic and many other chapters and changes along the way, working closely with Chairman Chris Illsley BEM and CEO Josh Illsley. Based in Lincoln, the company now in its 37th year has expanded rapidly each year since 1988 and grown from just 2 staff to 35 currently, this rising rapidly in the peak months of April, May and June and July. Running Imp is now established as the UK's leading Running and Mass Participation events supplier, serving events including London Marathon, Great North Run, Run for All, Dublin Marathon, British Heart Foundation Charity events, Panathlon Challenges, Liverpool F.C. and Manchester United F.C. and many more down to a multitude of fun runs and events that take place around the country each and every weekend. In recent years we have become globally renowned for specialising in Bespoke medals and supply The Great Las Vegas Santa Run, The Penguin Marathon in Antarctica and as far as New Zealand and Australia.
