About Faye Wilson

I am a creative and energetic person who has talents in writing, public speaking, and music. I have the ability to motivate people to expand their horizons and achieve their dreams. I can help persons understand the steps it will take -from A to Z-to accomplish their heart's desires. I believe in giving back to the community. I am a volunteer at Code Blue Shelter, a program for women and children who are homeless. I volunteer as a church musician - teaching choral music and providing piano accompaniment. I am a mentor in the public school system as well as with the Department of Social Services (to a young adult who has aged out of the foster care system). At my church, I serve as coordinator for a teen liturgical dance group, serve as communications coordinator, and teach the adult Sunday School class. One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr-"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?" I am definitely not all work and no play. I play competitive Scrabble and all types of card and board games. I am my family's 'hostess'- organizing parties and get togethers 'just because.' I say to my loved ones: we will not only have reunions around hospital beds and at funerals.
