Background
About Febi Dwi Putri
Hi everyone! I’m Febi, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. After a LinkedIn security issue in 2023, I stayed away for a while—but I’m happy to be back and reconnecting with professionals who are passionate about humanitarian work, health, and emergency response. My journey began with a background in nursing, starting out as an ambulance crew where I developed a deep understanding of emergency response in the field. This inspired me to pursue a Master's degree in Disaster Management at the Republic of Indonesia Defense University. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to contribute to both national and international humanitarian efforts. I joined the Indonesia Humanitarian Alliance in a mission to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, and later worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Indonesia and Timor-Leste. At ICRC, I served as a Health Emergency Specialist and Cooperation Officer, working closely with Palang Merah Indonesia (Indonesian Red Cross) to: Strengthen pre-hospital and first responder capacity Ensure safety and security frameworks are integrated into emergency and disaster responses Manage the Health Care in Danger file Establish coordination among emergency stakeholders to protect health workers and services in crisis settings Currently, I serve as a National Professional Officer for Health Emergencies at WHO Indonesia, where I work closely with the Ministry of Health’s Centre for Health Crisis and other relevant technical units, as well as partners in the Health Cluster and Humanitarian Country Team (HCT). My key focus areas include: Health emergencies preparedness and response Safe health facilities initiatives Risk and capacity assessments Emergency response management Health cluster coordination and partnership I am deeply committed to building resilient health systems and supporting coordinated, effective responses in times of crisis. Let’s connect and collaborate to make a greater impact!
