Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity • Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule • Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low • Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes • Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders • Prepare accurate bills of lading • Satisfy air bills in a timely manner • Communicate with van lines and airlines to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments • Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible • Track and analyze miss-shipments to ensure they do not occur again • Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels • Ensure quality of all services and processes within the facility • Receiving material checking as per purchasing department requested material is received or not. • Material coding. • Coordinating with staff, arranging the material in racks. • Material tracking and location. • Making RV (Receiving Voucher) in Microsoft GP. • Issuing Materials as Per the Request. • Making IV (issuing voucher) • Timely submission of all documents to the Finance department • Inventory Management • Coordinating with other departments • Review purchase orders and shipment contents prior to releasing them from our facility
